ECO-Friendly Design Principles
Thermaltake aims to develop its products that make contributions to preserving the environment. They consist of the 4 above components.
1.
Energy Saving (80 Plus) |
Reduce the energy consumption needed to use our products. Currently many of Thermaltake high performance power supply units have been certified by 80 PLUS Energy Efficiency Program for their excellent ability to energy saving. Thermaltake will continue to enhance the efficiency for our power supply units thus reducing energy waste.
2.
Green Material (RoHS) |
Reduce or substitute the use of hazardous substances. We maintain strict control over the chemical substances used, and take steps whenever possible to avoid the use of hazardous substances. Currently all Thermaltake products are made from green materials and all RoHS compliant.
3.
Extremely Quiet (QFan) |
Reduce the noise generated by our products. Researches have shown that noise can be annoying and even harmful to human health. To protect human health, many of Thermaltake superior performance coolers are silent and extremely quiet. Some specific PSUs even come with the patented QFan technology which minimises the noise to the lowest level.
4.
Recyclable (WEEE) |
Thermaltake’s product designers are advised to incorporate recyclable materials into all the new products whenever possible. All Thermaltake products comply with WEEE which requires recycling of electronic and electrical products. Most of the metal materials used in Thermaltake chassis are recyclable.
